Escape the summer heat with a visit to Luray Caverns. Walk through cool, winding passages filled with huge stone formations that look like drapes, columns, and frozen waterfalls. Soft lights highlight the shapes and reflections in clear pools of water, making everything feel calm and a little magical. After an included boxed lunch you’re free to explore the Car & Carriage Museum, Toy Town Junction, Shenandoah Heritage Village, Garden Maze or even venture back into the caverns.

Following an engaging visit in the Shenandoah Valley we’ll make an extended stop for food and shopping at the famous Buc-ee’s Travel Center! Buc-ee’s is a family-focused travel center featuring a wide range of freshly prepared foods including home-crafted bbq, custom made sandwiches, fresh salads and fruits, baked goods, and sweets as well as a unique collection of gifts, housewares, clothing, and weekend get-away gear.
