2025 Halloween Season in Gettysburg

Special Halloween 2025 Events, “Second Halloween,” and more.

The entire fall season here in Gettysburg is as incredible as it is iconic.

While some of our signature spookalicious events are sold out on Halloween weekend, we still have activities ready and rearing to go, including what we like to call, “Second Halloween.”

October 11th, 2025. 4:30PM. Rissa Miller: History of Ouija Boards

  • Public Historian Rissa Miller returns to Gettysburg to enchant visitors with her supernatural tales and first-hand paranormal experience with mystical Ouija boards. Eerie, superstitious, scandalous secrets await to be revealed.

October 11th, 2025. ~7:15pm. 2025 Gettysburg Halloween Parade.

Just down the street from us in Lincoln Square, the annual Gettysburg Halloween parade will be in full swinging, unofficially kicking of the Gettysburg Halloween seasonal celebration.

Saturday, November 1st, 2025: 9am – ALL DAY

  • ParaJam (with Black Lantern Paranormal): What is ParaJam? It’s the first annual ParaJam at the Orphanage, a one-day event combining music and paranormal investigation. Held at the Gettysburg Haunted Orphanage, ParaJam features a fantastic lineup of speakers, live music, a variety of vendors, and delicious food. It’s the perfect way to celebrate the spooky season, bringing together fans of the supernatural and lovers of live entertainment. The event, presented by Ghostly Images of Gettysburg and the aforementioned Black Lantern Paranormal, offers a unique opportunity to explore a haunted location while enjoying a day of great music and fascinating talks.

Second Halloween:

The Halloween activity continues to haunt us into the following weekend – November 7th-9th, as we bravely run our ghost tours, guided tours, and open up our orphanage and Jennie Wade house – if you dare to visit.

Rissa Miller: History of Witches

November 8th, 5pm. Rissa Miller: Our favorite silent seer returns to revile and tantalize our guests with dazzling tales of unapologetic witches, with tales steeped in Pennsylvania history that are sure to cast a spell upon you.

With utmost respect for the following historic events forthcoming

While we celebrate “Second Halloween,” we are respectful and remindful of the overlap with what will generally be revered as Veterans Day weekend.

  • Veterans Day weekend: Poignant events throughout the weekend, with the remembrance on Tuesday November 11th, 11:00am EST.
  • November 15th: Remembrance Day weekend for the Battle of Gettysburg. These events include a parade and an illumination in the national cemetery.
  • November 19th: The date Lincoln gave the Gettysburg address.

And be on the lookout for an “enormous” event to be announced as part of the America 250 celebration

  • 2026: An “enormous event” is planned as part of the America 250 celebration, but no specific details are available yet.

Don’t say we didn’t warn you!
